Nature's beauty captured in pastels and paint

Alison Minney is an experienced artist based in the North East of England, drawing much of her inspiration from the beautiful landscapes of the area. Minney has a studio at Ushaw Historic House in Durham, alongside many other fantastic local artists and makers.

 

Alison creates beautiful artwork celebrating nature using acrylics, oils and pastels. The Northumberland coastline holds a special place in her heart so you will find many pieces focused here, as well as places further afield. Minney's work also captures other parts of her beloved British countryside: woodland; fields and the creatures that make it their home.
